Needs work
3 important problems are costing you enquiries.
What we found
In October 2026 we ran this same check on the websites listed in four Sri Lankan business directories. Few of the problems were technical. Most were small things that decide whether a customer gets in touch or tries the next business.
39%
of listed business websites didn't work at all
The address had expired, or the site was down, broken, parked or showing gambling pages. Directories still sent customers there.
810 of 2,061 sites
42%
make it hard to get in touch from a phone
No way to message or call in one tap, on the homepage or the Contact page, though 8 in 10 devices used to go online here are smartphones.
509 of 1,211 working sites
79%
take more than 4 seconds to appear on a phone
On Google's own phone test. The typical site took 7.9 seconds to show its main content. Google's target is 2.5.
153 of 194 sites tested

Contact checks cover the homepage and Contact page of the 1,246 working sites; speed comes from Google PageSpeed Insights on a random 194 of them. Why a Sri Lankan check
Google handles 93.7% of searches in Sri Lanka, but most tools that check websites for Google were built for American and European sites. They compare you with the wrong businesses and miss what matters to customers here. Ours starts from how Sri Lankans search and get in touch.
Your report compares you with 1,246 working Sri Lankan business websites, not global averages.
People here search by place: "cake shop colombo" gets about 1,300 searches a month. We check that Google knows where you are.
8 in 10 devices used to go online in Sri Lanka are smartphones, so we check your site the way customers see it: on a phone.
We checked our results against what a real phone browser shows, on 50 random Sri Lankan business websites. 906 of 918 matched.

How we compare
The same website, checked two ways. Both cover the technical side: page titles and descriptions, image text, speed and security. A typical global report stops at a list of warnings. Ours puts what's costing you enquiries first, says it in plain English, and tells you how long each fix takes.

What we check
Each area answers a question your customers ask. 7 of the checks exist because of how Sri Lankans search and get in touch, and no global tool runs them.
What the audit covers, and what your report shows
We don't log in, change anything on your site, or contact your customers.

Questions
Yes. Type your website address at the top of this page and you get a full report in about a minute, plus your most important fix explained step by step. To open the fix, you leave your name and email address, which we never share; a phone number is optional. There's no payment, no account and no sales call.
An SEO audit checks how easily Google can find and understand your website, and what visitors run into once they arrive. Ours covers four areas: whether customers can get in touch, how you show up on Google, technical health such as speed on phones, and trust. It reads only what any visitor can see.
Sri Lankan agencies usually offer a free audit after a contact form or a call, and charge about Rs 45,000 for a full one. Ours is free and takes about a minute.
An agency's free audit usually takes 3–5 working days and leads to a monthly package, typically Rs 20,000–60,000 a month. Ours arrives in about a minute, with no call, and explains your most important fix for free.
Not on its own. ChatGPT and other AI chatbots can explain SEO and comment on text you paste in, but they don't measure your site. They can't run Google's phone speed test, check the same things the same way every time, or compare you with other Sri Lankan businesses. Our check does all three, and each result says where its numbers come from.
No one can promise that, and Google's own guidance says so. Be wary of anyone who does. What we can do is find and fix the things that stop Google, and customers, from understanding your business and getting in touch.
Yes. Choose "No website yet", enter your business name and town, and we check your Google Business Profile instead: whether you've claimed it, and whether your hours, phone number, photos and reviews are in good shape.
Your report comes from Google's PageSpeed Insights test, from reading your public homepage and Contact page, and for business profiles, from your public Google Maps listing. The comparisons come from our check of 2,061 websites listed in four Sri Lankan business directories in October 2026, 1,246 of which were working. We also tested our checker against a real Chrome browser on 50 random Sri Lankan business websites: 906 of its 918 results matched.
